Choose between a 2MP or a 4MP IP security camera

The greater the megapixel (MP), the sharper the image, but with a higher MP there is also a larger amount of storage required. If the subjects are moving the extra MP will help. However, most customers find the 2MP to be just fine.

Technical requirements

Hard drive

Typically the hard drive stores 1TB and 4TB. The graph allows you to work out what size of hard drive you require. The frames per second required depends on how fast moving the traffic is.

Switches and Routers

Capacity: The system may fit onto your existing network or can be wired separately onto different switches and even broadband connections.
