This is the width of the viewing angle. As a rule of thumb, the wider the angle, the more distorted the image is. For most situations we recommend a 79° camera.
The greater the megapixel (MP), the sharper the image, but with a higher MP there is also a larger amount of storage required. If the subjects are moving the extra MP will help. However, most customers find the 2MP to be just fine.
